Please join us for a special performance of "8 the Play."
The play recounts the federal trial of Proposition 8 and features the families who were involved. There will also be a pre-show reception, a benefit auction, and a panel discussion on marriage equality and beyond with activists and scholars following the performance.
There will be a pre-show reception with refreshments at 7:30 pm in Frist 307 (around the corner from the theatre. Tickets can be purchased at the box office in the Frist Campus Center.
The panel following the performance will discuss how the Perry case made it to the Supreme Court, different potential rulings by the Court, what we can expect to happen after the ruling, and other legal issues that LGBT Americans face today.
