Mon, 10/01/2007
12:15 - 1:30 PM, 165 Wallace Hall

Robert C. Ellickson, Walter E. Meyer Professor of Property and Urban Law at Yale Law School, will present his paper, "Unpacking the Household: Informal Property Rights Around the Hearth," in this week's Economics and Sociology Workshop. Charles E. Varner, a Princeton sociology graduate student, will lead the discussion.

The Economics and Sociology Workshop is a bi-weekly seminar that draws professors, students, and postdocs together to discuss papers that are at the intersection of economic sociology and economics. It is jointly organized by Avinash Dixit of the Economics Department and Viviana Zelizer of the Sociology Department. Papers are distributed approximately one week prior to any particular workshop. Participants are asked to read the paper in advance. All are welcome.

If you plan to attend the October 2 workshop with Robert Ellickson, please send a message to the workshop coordinator, Emily Marshall by 10am on Wednesday, September 26.
