Jessica Flanigan is a graduate student in the Program in Political Philosophy. Her dissertation, "Liberal Medicine," argues that prohibitive pharmaceutical regulations are unjust. Other research interests include applied ethics, Kantian ethics, business ethics, formal theory, and judicial politics. Flanigan holds a B.A. in political science and philosophy from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and an M.A. in political science from Washington University in St. Louis.
