Philip Levitz is a Woodrow Wilson School major from Chappaqua, New York. His primary interests are in international and comparative politics, and—in the legal realm—comparative constitutional law. He has a particular regional interest in Europe, especially the European Union and the new democracies of East Central Europe. Philip is pursuing a certificate in Contemporary European Politics and Society and has studied abroad at the University of Oxford. He is an undergraduate fellow at Rockefeller College, a project coordinator at the Student Volunteers Council, and a member of the Pace Council for Civic Values. Philip currently serves as a media monitor for Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential exploratory committee and he has interned at Sen. Clinton's reelection campaign and at the Office of Rep. Nita Lowey (NY-18). He was also an intern and, subsequently, a staff member at Fernando Ferrer's 2005 mayoral campaign in New York City.
