Sarah Kaiksow

Sarah Kaiksow is a PhD Candidate in Sociology and a Graduate Associate in the Law and Public Affairs program at Princeton University. Her research interests include women and gender studies, Middle Eastern studies, Islamic and international law, and political sociology. Her dissertation is supported by the National Science Foundation. Alongside her academic work, Sarah has worked with local NGOs in the Middle East to provide start-up and development support, and served as a consultant on the Arab States for the UN WOMEN's Fund for Gender Equality. She holds a Masters in Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Oxford (Balliol College), a Masters in Arab Studies from the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University, and a Bachelors in Sociology and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
